You will need 8 threaded inserts with an internal diameter of 3mm for use with Smithy's PCB Front panel
You can find these m3 threaded inserts with an external diameter of 5mm commonly on AliExpress
The default wooden case thickness is 9mm. The 8 threaded inserts will need to be inserted to top of the wooden case. I recommend using a 4mm drill bit to drill the pilot holes and drilling a depth of 6mm.
You can also use these threaded inserts in the base of the wooden enclosure to mount the PCBs.
